“I have had a lot of emails from people wanting me to do a tutorial over some of the uses of the new beta of dashcode. I will be covering the first which is an RSS widget. This is available for download on the website and its viewable here! I recently had problems with “YouTube” and another service “Brightcove” both media servers that serve your video so that its viewable on the web. Both services was taking the audio out of the video on the site, so instead of wrestle with poor video qualities I have created a video podcast of the RSS tutorial. I hope you find it useful!”

“Today, were talking with the creator of the Chi Widget, its a really great widget that allows people to have more fun in their dashboard. Its a growing plant widget for your dashboard. Based on the real plant the Chia Pet, the widget will grow on your computer every 3 days. But like a real plant, it needs water and sunlight (not really). When clicking the water droplet button, it feeds your pet for 3 days. A fun idea coupled with great graphics makes the Chi Pet a great widget. There is a beta program for this widget which can be found at Novis Design.”

First of all I want to thank you for your patience with me, and the podcast. Thanks for staying subscribed, and for all your warm wishes they are appreciated. A few days ago, Gabe, over at Novis Design contacted me about their newest version of Chi Pet, their chia pet like dashboard widget. Hello, everyone! So sorry for the lack of updating the site, and a lack of a regular podcast, things have been busy for me lately, working and living in the USA is much different than working and living overseas. The holiday season has been good and its very nice to see everyone again, I wish all of you, my devoted listeners, a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy Holiay! I am so happy, for all of your support!
