To offer my services and expertise as a computer consultant, IT professional or Apple Support Professional and to obtain a position where I might share my knowledge and passion for technology in the arts, education, or in corporate environments.

With a wide range of skills from Graphic Design and Fine Art to Computer Diagnostics and Network administration I have many skills that would fit a wide range of positions.


Professional Skills

Professional Apple Support Professional
  • Experience installing new software and configuring operating systems from Mac OS 9 through Mac OS 10.1 to Mac OS 10.5. Installations include but are not limited to new software, client configuration, server configuration, hard drive diagnostics, troubleshooting and data recovery.

  • Experience Maintaining large volumes of computers in the realm of hardware installation, hardware repair, hardware troubleshooting, hardware upgrades, hardware / hard disk data loss prevention and recovery as well as configuration of new hardware in existing machines or older machines both PC and Mac.

  • Experience administering Apple servers, working with clients, and using technologies such as telnet and ftp to gain access to servers and maintain large data sets. Experience setting up and troubleshooting new applications for Blackberry support, and troubleshooting in that regard.

  • Experience setting up and installing various online apps integrated for MYSQL Databases such as Blog Software (Wordpress, Nucleus, Joomla, & Movable Type), E-Commerce Solutions, and a few custom PHP Applications.

  • Experience querying and compiling data through Excel with MYSQL and ODBC Databases to gather data for developing Financial Sales Reports through the use of Pivot Tables.

  • Experience implementing sales reports for Summit of New England where I wrote custom queries to get the financial data required by the President of the Company.

  • Experience with installation of new hardware onto PC and Macintosh Systems. As well as custom installations of software including and not limited to the entire OS *(Mac 10.5 and Lower, Windows Vista and Lower) as well as network administration and wireless networking.

    2007-2008

    IT Representative / Web Developer

    Functioning as a Web Designer and Network Administrator for the office and all 5 retail locations. Responsibilities include maintaining the VPN server for all the POS clients in each retail store and performing scheduled maintenance and upgrades. Web Design responsibilities include designing and developing the website representing the company and the retail locations and maintaining the web-server. I work closely with the database in the main office and create custom queries to develop sales reports for the president of the company. Setting up and maintenance of a 32-computer network with interlinked wireless network available for 22 laptop computers.

    Key Accomplishments
  • Installation of Windows XP Professional and networking of all computers through the main office and our retail locations.
  • Learning and developing custom queries for use with a ODBC Database on a UNIX server.
  • Implementation of a complex website coded in PHP, JAVASCRIPT and HTML.
  • Implementation of universal e-mail identities for all corporate staff.
  • Using telnet and ftp to gain access to data sets on MYSQL and ODBC databases.
  • Configured and troubleshot inner workings of the blackberry system for upper management staff.

    2001-2008

    Graphic Design and Web Design Professor

    Functioning as an Adjunct Faculty for York County Community College entails development and implementation of your own curriculum for the requested class to be taught. Course objectives clearly stated and a faculty syllabus created in accordance with school policies. I was hired for one year and taught a Photoshop, Lightwave 3D and HTML course from 2001~2002 upon completion of my contract I then traveled overseas for 5 years. I returned and they re-instated me and currently I am teaching Graphic Design, Photoshop and a Web Design class. Responsibilities include organizing daily lesson plans, handouts, and project creation. I am in constant interaction with my students which requires a vast understanding of the subject matter being presented.

  • Teaching over 1000 students to understand the workings of Graphic Design, Typography and what it means to be an Art Director.
  • Implementation of new techniques with the Adobe CS3 graphics suite.
  • Developing over 200 pages of handouts containing valuable page layout and graphic design skills and shortcuts.
  • Set up and design of the Mac Lab and the network that joins the lab crossover to the PC network.
  • Set up the initial Mac lab for the students a lab with over 40 Apple computers all tied together with the existing PC based network.

  • English Instructor / Computer Consultant
    2002-2007

    Computer Consultant & IT Rep for International School Systems

    I first traveled overseas for a job position working for the Government in Bayanhonogor, Mongolia. My responsibilities included setting up a vast government and school computer network as well as teaching students the English Language using a pre-designed English curriculum. The computer lab consisted of 100 PC workstations with a single Internet server running on a dedicated line. Upon completion of my contract I traveled to Korea, where I worked for two years again in the same fashion but this time for the Wonderland School System in Hwajong. I set up a 22 iBook G3 lab with a wireless network. Responsibilities included repairing and re-installing various applications and operating systems. Finally in 2005 I moved to Taiwan assuming again the same role for the Joy School System where I implemented two computer labs comprised of mixed systems laptops and desktops with a wired and wireless network. Responsibilities included creating English based lessons where the students would learn also key computer skills such as typing and using MS Office. Maintaining all students’ laptops and logging of all school equipment.

    Key Accomplishments
  • Learning a lot about wireless networks and how they interact with various systems in mixed lab environments.
  • Setting up several labs and maintaining two network servers. Some labs included computers with different platforms such as Windows and Macintosh systems.
  • Ability to work closely with government and school officials in an international setting.
  • Set up and maintenance of a large MLTI Apple laptop program and configuration of new computers on existing and new networks.
  • Installation of new software and new computer hardware as needed or as it became available.
  • Integration with the closed circuit tv feed into their website for ease of use.
  • Maintained a large lab with over 60 Apple desktops, maintained their integrity and kept them up to date as needed.
  • Data recovery from failed hard disks and Bios systems.

    1999-2001

    Macintosh Network Administrator

    My senior year at Franklin Pierce University I qualified for a position at the school as a Macintosh Network Administrator. My responsibilities included staffing a rotating cycle of qualified attendants to keep the lab open during a full 12-hour window. Administering all computers in the lab on-site or remotely using ARD. Set up custom scripts to make updating and custom installation of educational software easier as well as helping fellow students with Macintosh education and Graphic Design skills.

  • To be one of the few staff members while also being enrolled as a full time student.
  • Ability to work closely with fellow classmates to realize my lifelong passion for teaching and knowledge.
  • Implementation of OS X for the first time on all prior Mac OS 9.1 computers and set up of a complete UNIX network to be joined with the existing PC network.
